LPM lubrication point monitoring system has been developed to monitor and guarantee that the correct amount of lubricant has reached the lubrication point each and every time.
The system is a combination of heavy duty grease and/or oil flow meters with an application specific automation board.
It safeguards the critical lubrication points in your installations against blocked lines or leakages. Provides real time feedback about the status of all the points and an alarm in case of a problem.
Principal Of Operation
An oval gear flow meter is mounted at or near the lubrication point inlet. (installation of an appropriate filter is recommended after the pump’s outlet, to keep contaminants out)
The oval gear mechanism incorporates two magnets into one of the nylon oval gears. The body incorporates a read switch which senses the magnet passing. Lubricant entering the flow meter causes the gears to rotate. Each pulse equates to a specific volume of lubricant. (depends on the flow meter model)
Feedback from the flow meter is evaluated by the LPM Controller and warnings are given locally and remotely, when a problem occurs.
Monitoring of up to 16 lubrication points (standard version, expandable)
Points can be allocated in two independent groups without restrictions (8-8, 4-12 etc. different lubrication systems/zones)
Different target value for every group and lubrication point (each point may have different lubrication requirements)
